Representative Pallone, Please vote against the so-called "Immigration Reform" bill if and when it comes up for a vote in the House. No illegal alien should be rewarded for invading the US and committing crimes in the country. An illegal alien is by definition a criminal since nothing they acquire in the country is legal. History shows this bill will only increase the invasion of illegal aliens. All illegal aliens need to be unconditional expelled and any one who knowingly hires them punished as criminals accessories. It should also be noted that there are no such thing as anchor babies. Children born to illegal aliens, visitors, diplomats and migrant workers are not US citizens under Amendment 14 and I know of no provisions enacted under Amendment 1 Section 8 Paragraph 4 which authorizes Title 8 of the US Code. People ignore "and subject the jurisdiction thereof" which refers to citizenship. The Elk and Ark cases are the only cases I know that actually discusses the real meanings of Amendment 14's birth based citizenship. It is time to stop this amnesty train and allowing illegal aliens to continue to invade the country. Our sovereignty is at stake. Sincerely, Donald R Laster Jr.
